HELP Inc. (HELP) is North America’s oldest non-profit public/private partnership serving the commercial trucking industry. HELP’s flagship service - PrePass© is endorsed by the American Trucking Associations and 38 state and regional trucking associations. The PrePass e-screening and weigh station preclearance system has 310 equipped sites in 31 states, with more under development. PrePass is the only bypass service that electronically screens carriers before their trucks go on the road, using the most current, accurate data available. All data used to screen carriers for bypass eligibility is subject to stringent security and privacy requirements adopted by the HELP Board of Directors. HELP also offers PrePass Plus interoperable electronic toll payment and toll management services for commercial vehicles, available on more than 80 toll roads, turnpikes and other tolled facilities across the U.S. As of May 2015, more than a half million qualified trucks from more than 44,000 fleets are enrolled in PrePass. Since 1997, carriers that have qualified for the service have saved more than 54 million hours of time and more than 259 million gallons of fuel, for a total cost savings of more than $4.6 billion.
