We’re excited to announce that Truck the State House is returning on January 21, 2026 — and after tremendous success in 2024, this year’s event is shaping up to be even bigger and better. 

About the Event 

Truck the State House is one of SCTA’s most impactful advocacy events, giving our members the chance to meet lawmakers, strengthen relationships, and demonstrate the essential role trucking plays in South Carolina’s economy. 

Activities will include: 

• Drop-In Legislative Lunch with House & Senate members 
• Photo Ops with SC’s Truck Caucus and Governor Henry McMaster 
• Viewing of Legislative Sessions from the galleries 
• Time for Individual meetings with key lawmakers 
• Opportunities to share industry priorities directly with decision-makers
