DESCRIPTION:Since we ALWAYS have hurricanes\, we do this NTDAW cookout late. September 13-19 was designated as National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. This is the time we as industry thank our drivers for the important\, outstanding and professional job they perform each day. Many companies held cookouts at various company locations\, provided food and refreshments\, displayed banners of recognition\, and showed appreciation for their drivers. The South Carolina Trucking Association\, its SC Safety Management & HR Council\, SC State Transport Police\, and FMCSA\, with assistance from Wal-Mart Stores\, will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs for our drivers from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. We want to express to them how important they and the jobs they do are to our companies\, state and nation. If you or your company would like to be with us and show your appreciation to our industry drivers\, please complete this form and return it to us to let us know. We need members (CEOs\, safety directors\, dispatchers\, and supervisors\, etc.) to help serve the drivers and to express our appreciation. Be sure your company drivers are aware of the date\, location and time of the SC Driver appreciation cookout!
